I read this and thought it was pretty darn cool...."The largest snowflake in recorded history was reported at Fort Keogh, Montana, on January 28, 1887, according to the Guinness Book of World Records. The snowflake was reportedly 15 inches wide and 8 inches thick. The person who found the snow flake, ranch owner Matt Coleman, described it as "larger than milk pans." Yea pretty darn big.
